Your Fellow Ginger: Candles in the Dorms?

I love candles. Unfortunately, however, when you live in a dorm, candles are not allowed. Fire safety here is run tight, they do checks all of the time, and if they see a candle, they will throw it out. No questions asked. So, how did I find a way around this rule..........two words....candle warmers.

Because they are electrical and melt the wax void a flame, they are allowed! Hurray for the life hack that, seriously though, made stressful exam time soo much better.

If you haven't heard of a candle warmer, they are basically a hot pot for wax. hahaha....and they look something like...

hahaha....loving the snowman one...makes me want hot chocolate....lol

Needless to say these are awesome. I got mine from target on sale for 12 dollars.
And the little wax melts, you can find pretty much at any super and/or home goods store. They come in every scent imaginable. My favorite is the butterscotch maple cream scent from the brand Better Homes and Gardens. I love its so much...and .....I actually am in need of some more.
